Psycho-social and Educational Dimension of the COVID-19 Lockdown for Elementary School Students

چکیده

The aim of this study is to investigate psycho-social status and online education experiences elementary school students during COVID-19 lockdown process. Constructed as a mixed methods research, follows sequential explanatory design. Quantitative data was gathered through snowball sampling technique by using Screen for Child Anxiety Related Emotional Disorders (SCARED) Scale, qualitative one-to-one interviews with volunteer participants. Descriptive statistics the SCARED revealed presence an Disorder in general. Separation factor stood out among others highest score. Content analysis that were dissatisfied applications conducted lockdown. Based on findings, implications related social educational dimensions period young learners discussed. Suggestions designing meet target learners’ age-specific needs characteristics made.
